// This study compared stapedius reflex thresholds in pediatric cochlear implant (CI) users with normal-hearing children using open-sound-field acoustic stimuli. Stapedius reflex thresholds were measured twice with narrow-band and broad-band noises at various frequencies. CI users showed higher thresholds, especially at 2 kHz, and measurements were consistent across sessions. The findings support using these reflex thresholds to help set stimulation levels in pediatric CI users.
