// This study assessed ventricular repolarization and cardiac electrophysiological balance in children with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) compared to healthy controls. Electrocardiographic analysis showed that SNHL was independently linked to prolonged corrected QT interval (QTc) and decreased index of cardiac electrophysiological balance (iCEB). These alterations suggest a potential underlying cardiac electrophysiological vulnerability in children with SNHL. Further research is needed to understand the associated arrhythmia risk.
