// Chirp-Evoked Electrocochleography and Speech-in-Noise Performance in Normal-Hearing Individuals With Tinnitus
// This study investigated cochlear synaptopathy indicators in normal-hearing individuals with tinnitus using chirp-evoked electrocochleography (ECochG) and speech perception in noise (SPIN) tests. Results showed reduced AP2 amplitudes in the tinnitus group and a positive correlation between AP2 amplitude and SPIN performance in controls under difficult listening conditions. The findings suggest that combining chirp-evoked ECochG and SPIN testing offers complementary, noninvasive insights into auditory function related to tinnitus and speech-in-noise perception.
