// This study compared ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potential (oVEMP) responses in children using 500 Hz narrowband CE-Chirp versus 500 Hz toneburst stimuli. Using a within-subject design with 36 participants aged 7-18, the CE-Chirp stimulus yielded higher response rates and larger amplitudes than the toneburst. No significant difference was found in asymmetry ratios between stimuli. The 500 Hz CE-Chirp shows promise for clinical oVEMP testing in children, but further calibration and bandwidth research are needed before widespread clinical use.
