// The Effect of Head Movements on Front-Back Discrimination and Sound Externalization With Hearing Aids
// This study investigated whether active head movements can compensate for spatial hearing distortions caused by hearing aids. Normal-hearing participants wore low-gain hearing aids and performed front-back sound discrimination and externalization rating tasks with and without head movements. Results showed head movements improved front-back discrimination but did not fully restore sound externalization to unaided levels. The findings suggest hearing aid-induced spatial distortions are only partially mitigated by head movements, with notable individual variability.
