// This mixed-methods retrospective review examined parent and audiologist views of personalised paediatric hearing-loss simulations and whether sharing them affected datalogged hearing-aid use in children under 11. Eighty-five clinical records (52 with datalogging) were reviewed after introducing a simulator into care. Most parents (94%) chose to hear the simulation and nearly all (97%) found it helpful; simulations improved parents' understanding of their child's experience and prompted emotional and behavioural conversations, and audiologists found them useful though sometimes led to challenging discussions. However, sharing simulations did not significantly change children's daily hearing-aid use.
