// Objective: to examine audiologists' roles, practices, barriers, and opportunities in assessing and treating vestibular balance problems. Method: a mixed-methods study with an online survey of 116 audiologists from 21 countries and nine follow-up interviews. Key finding: audiologists are substantially more involved, trained, and confident in assessment than in treatment, which is often referred to to physiotherapists or ENTs; major barriers include limited practical training, low treatment confidence, lack of equipment/technology, unclear referral pathways, and poor reimbursement, with cross-country variation in role perception. Conclusion: structured training, clearer role definitions, and system-level support are needed to expand audiologists' contributions to multidisciplinary VBP care.
