雙盲隨機安慰劑對照試驗，44例，nicergoline 30 mg/日，4週治療｜未改變VAS或FEES（內視鏡吞嚥評估）分數，但顯著降低穿入‑誤吸量表分數，改善吞嚥時氣道保護｜顯示該藥可提升吞嚥安全，為神經肌肉性咽喉吞嚥困難之潛在治療選項

// We tested whether nicergoline improves swallowing in neuromuscular oropharyngeal dysphagia in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial. Forty-four patients were randomized to nicergoline 30 mg daily or placebo for 4 weeks, with outcomes measured by visual analog scale, flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), and the penetration–aspiration scale. Nicergoline did not change VAS or FEES scores versus placebo but produced a significant reduction in penetration–aspiration scale scores, indicating better airway protection during swallowing. These results suggest nicergoline can augment swallow safety and may be a therapeutic option for this condition.
