// This study updated the national picture of craniofacial education in U.S. graduate speech-language pathology programs. The authors surveyed 289 accredited programs (99 respondents) and supplemented nonresponse with public curricular review and follow-up, producing a final dataset of 281 programs analyzed descriptively. They found 19.9% offered a required dedicated craniofacial course, 11.4% an elective, 68.7% taught content only via embedded instruction, and 63% offered clinical experiences (most with <25% student participation). The authors conclude dedicated coursework and consistent clinical exposure are limited and preparation in this specialty remains highly variable, warranting continued curricular study.
