// Objective: assess ≥10-year survival, stability, soft tissue reactions, and quality of life after the Ponto Wide bone-anchored hearing implant. Methods: continuation of single-center trials with 48 patients (49 implants) at ≥10 years (implant survival evaluated for original 63 patients/65 implants); measured ISQ, Holgers/IPS, IOI-HA and GBI. Results: 10-year implant survival was 95.4%, ISQ increased from baseline, only minor skin reactions in 3 patients and no adverse reactions, and 92.1% reported improved hearing-related quality of life (median IOI-HA 4.3). Conclusion: the Ponto Wide shows sustained high survival and stability, very low soft tissue complications, and strong long-term patient satisfaction.
