// Diagnostic Value of Tubomanometry in Patulous Eustachian Tube

回顧性研究以 tubomanometry (TMM) 診斷張開性耳咽管（PET），比較27耳PET與91耳對照｜PET鼻咽壓力閾值中位7.0 mbar（3–23）對照21 mbar（10–25），P=0.014；閾值≤4.5 mbar具90%特異性｜壓力曲線形態相似，顯示咽肌動力無差，TMM可作為具體化的PET診斷指標並具臨床應用價值。

// This retrospective study tested tubomanometry (TMM) as a diagnostic tool for patulous Eustachian tube (PET) in 27 ears from 20 PET patients versus 91 ears from 49 symptomatic controls. The nasopharyngeal pressure threshold at which middle-ear pressure began to rise was significantly lower in PET patients (median 7.0 mbar [3.0–23]) than controls (21 mbar [10–25]; P=0.014). A threshold ≤4.5 mbar yielded 90% specificity for PET, and nasopharyngeal pressure curve shapes did not differ between groups, suggesting similar nasopharyngeal muscle dynamics.
