// This systematic review evaluated audiological, vestibular, tinnitus, and postoperative outcomes after labyrinthectomy combined with cochlear implantation for Ménière disease. Following PRISMA-guided searches of MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, and Embase, eight studies (123 implanted ears) were included, reporting mostly simultaneous and some sequential procedures. Despite heterogeneous outcome measures, most studies showed measurable postoperative hearing benefit and generally low-to-mild residual dizziness and tinnitus, with surgical complications and occasional recurrent vertigo in selected cohorts. The combined labyrinthectomy and cochlear implantation approach can provide effective vertigo control and meaningful auditory rehabilitation in carefully selected patients with advanced or treatment-refractory Ménière disease.
