// This article reviews current research and explores how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) can guide speech-language pathologists' collaboration with families and educational teams serving preschoolers who are deafblind. Through a literature-based examination of UDL principles, the authors show UDL is a flexible framework that improves access and supports development of social interaction, communication, and language. They conclude by outlining practical ways UDL supports the SLP role and collaborative planning tailored to each child's sensory profile and learning needs.
