It integrates established models (ICF, cognitive-communication competence, and treatment specification) and is demonstrated through a clinical case showing collaborative goal-setting, targeted intervention ingredients, and contextual flexibility. The authors conclude SoCIAL aligns with current evidence and helps clinicians design, implement, and measure person-centered, evidence-based interventions that rebuild skills and support identity reconstruction. Ultimately, using SoCIAL aims to increase participation, inclusion, and quality of life for people with brain injury.
