// Clinical and audiovestibular findings in pediatric vestibular migraine spectrum disorders
// This retrospective cohort study of 32 children with vestibular migraine spectrum disorders (VMC, probable VMC, RVC) evaluated demographics, family migraine history, audiometry, videonystagmography (VNG), and video head impulse testing (VHIT). VNG was abnormal in 70.8% (central positional nystagmus in 50%), VHIT was abnormal in 43.7%, and hearing loss was uncommon (3/17 with mild–moderate unilateral loss). Findings indicate predominantly central vestibular dysfunction consistent with migraine pathophysiology, and prolonged diagnostic delay with frequent prior imaging/EEG suggests earlier recognition and targeted audiovestibular testing could improve care.
